OUR
PROCESSES
SPINNING
We manufacture 100% cotton and polyester-cotton blend yarns, guaranteeing quality, uniformity and resistance to meet the needs of the textile industry.
WARPING AND SIZING
We prepare the warps using starch, resin and PVA, guaranteeing the strength and optimal performance of the yarns during the weaving process.
TISSUE
We carry out the weaving of fabrics from 90 m to 3.20 m wide, guaranteeing quality, uniformity and versatility for different textile applications.
FINISH
We perform bleaching, pigment dyeing, printing and felting processes, giving each fabric the appearance, color and texture required for its final application.

Telas El Asturcón traces its roots to the historic La Covadonga textile factory, founded in 1897 in Puebla, one of the most important textile industries in the region and a pioneer in fabric manufacturing in Mexico. For decades, La Covadonga fostered the economic and social development of thousands of families in Puebla, forming part of the renowned textile corridor along the Atoyac River.
Over time, the company evolved and modernized under the name Telas El Asturon, maintaining the tradition, quality, and textile expertise that have distinguished it since its inception. Today, the company remains committed to innovation, service, and excellence in the manufacture and sale of fabrics, preserving a legacy of more than a century of history in the Puebla textile industry.
